The next day, the Senshi travel to the United States via portal to begin their search for SailorStratus.

"We need an easier way of finding her," Shinrai exclaims after they have checked into a nearby hotel.

"We could try looking for her energy signature with my computer," Ami looks up from her book.

"That's a good idea," Luna agrees. "Her signature should be similar to yours."

"We could combine my computer with yours," Shinrai pulls it out of her bag. "It would give it more power and a bigger search range."

Ami hands Shinrai her blue mini-computer and links the two together.

"Hmm...Let's see. I'll start with a country-wide search. If that's too large, I'll use state-wide, though it shouldn't take too much time. Maybe an hour or two," Shinrai begins to type. "Well, country is too large so I'm gonna switch to state. I suggest you guys get some sleep or tour the city."

"Well, I wanna tour the city while we're here. This is the first time I've ever been to the United States," Makoto grins.

"I'll go with you," Yume stands. "You'll need a tour guide. Anyone else wanna go along?"

The rest of the Inner Senshi, Hotaru, ChibiUsa, and Usagi decide to go along while Setsuna, Haruka, and Michiru return to their rooms. As the Senshi leave, Takumi pulls up a chair and begins to watch Shinrai. Suddenly, there is a knock at their door.

"I wonder who that could be?" Shinrai's eyes narrow as she leaps up. "No one knows we're here."

"I don't know," Takumi walks to the door and opens it.

"Surprise!" Hikari yells as Takumi jumps.

"Damn it, Hikari! I almost jumped out of my skin!" Takumi playfully punches her, but misses as Hikari ducks. "What are you doing here, anyway? I thought you and Akari were supposed to be keeping an eye on Nikko."

"I'm a fast packer so we left earlier than planned. We arrived in Tokyo just after you left. Akari told us where you were and we headed straight here," Nikko walks in and hops on one of the beds.

"Where is Akari anyway?" Shinrai turns her chair around and massages the bridge of her nose.

"She hasn't contacted you yet?"

"Nope."
