Sorana is the most powerful priestess at her family's shrine. Having started training since she was two, her grandmother has prepared her for the responsibility of the Protector of the Forest Medallion. She has mastered control over it's power, yet she knows nothing of the Medallion except that it is a powerful family heirloom.
Being 1/4 Kokiri, she, of course, has a Fairy companion by the name of Felena. When Sorana was born, Felena, after several long years of waiting, finally felt the calling of a ward. She flew from HighRidge, a Fairy colony in the mountains of Egyn, and found her life-long companion.
Felena is as high-strung as her ward. Unfortunately, she isn't as optimistic as Sorana and often tries to persuade the girl to realize the reality of their situation.
Sorana met Taka after she and Felena got lost in the woods around their home. Thanks to the Forest Medallion, she was able to communicate with the falcon and they became inseparable ever since.
Sorana met Lynn when her grandmother would take her to visit Link's home. They became immediate friends despite their obvious differences in personality.
