Before Yuri lies a small field. She slides down the small, steep hill. Seeing no one around, she begins to climb a small cliff. Grasping a thin dead tree, she pulls herself up over the top and gasps.

"My God...What happened to Tokyo?" she mutters as she gazes at destroyed city. Broken buildings, cars, and other debris lay scattered about the area. "It looks like someone dropped a bomb on the place. I wonder what caused so much damage."

She begins to walk toward the city, when suddenly a light blinds her.

[Freeze] two policemen point their guns at her. She automatically throws her arms up in surrender.

Just great, cops. That's all I need. "Please don't shoot. I haven't done anything wrong!"

[What's she saying?] he looks at his partner.

[She looks American. It's probably English.] he grabs her roughly and places leads her to the police car. [You shouldn't be wandering around here. Why didn't you leave with the others?]

Shit! How am I gonna get outta this?

[Well, well. What have we here? Some foolish mortals.] a large, armored figure steps out of the shadows in front of Yuri and the police officers. His armor, blue over black sub-armor, glistens as he steps out into the sunlight.

[Shit! Not another one!] the police officer raises his gun at him. [Stay there or I'll shoot.]

[What.. who are you?] the other officers stutters.

He looks like one of the samurai from my dreams..but his armor doesn't match any of the m.. Oy.. What have I gotten myself into?

[I am Sagi, Warlord of Treachery,] the armored man says and steps forward. The officer fires and the bullet ricochets of the armor. He gapes.

Sagi? Recognizing basic Japanese, she raises an eyebrow in confusion. He is definetely not one of the samurai I dreamed.

"Shine!" Sagi raises his weapon, a nunchaku, and begins to twirl it. "Lightening Demon Flare!" Green lightening emerges from its spinning and shoots up forming a gigantic demon.

"Shit!!!" she dives away from the demon as it hits the officers, killing them instantly. She hides behind a crushed building, shaken up slightly. Please let him not see me. Please..

[Humph. Pathetic,] he looks over toward the main part of the city, which had been unharmed during Talpa's first attack. [Now, to do as Talpa commanded.] he disappears.

Yuri peaks around the corner and breathes a sigh of relief. She walks over to the police officers and closes her eyes. Bastard. She grabs the keys with her bound hands and undoes the cuffs.

"Now to figure out what to do next," she looks in the same direction Sagi had. "Might as well head that way."

At dusk, Yuri makes her way to the edge of the city that is unharmed. As she walks down the street, she notices that all the stores are locked and abandoned.

Eh? What's going on? Where is everyone? Great, just great, she sits on the sidewalk. Suddenly, she hears multiple heavy footsteps coming from the rooftops.It could be Sagi again. I'd better stay here until he leaves. The owners of the footsteps leap down in the middle of the street. It's them! The ones from my dreams!

[Have you found anyone yet?] Ryo questions the other eight.

[Nope. There's no one left,] Rowen answers. [Everyone seems to be hiding or evacuated.]

[But the poem stated that the Aerostar owner would appear nearby. And it's been two day and we still haven't found her,] Cye states. [Where could she be?]

I wish I could understand what they're saying. God, this sucks. Yuri, trying to get closer to the Ronins, accidentally kicks a soda can. The Ronins turn quickly and brace for a surprise attack.

[Who's there?] Sekhmet growls. [Show yourself.]

Gulping, Yuri steps out into the open. As she does, the Ronins relax, except for Sage and Kayura.

[It's her,] Sage states quietly. [She's the one in my vision.]

[Are you sure?] Kento looks at him doubtfully. [It could be one of Talpa's tricks.]

[It's her,] Kayura steps forward. [I can sense Aerostar's power within her.]

"Uh.. hi..." Yuri says sheepishly. Oh, boy.

[Prepare to die, Ronins,] three Warlords appear above their heads.

[Just great..] Ryo mutters. [Perfect timing.]

[We try. Hahahaha!] the female Warlord, trimmed in white, cackles.

[Just who are you two?]Dais sneers.

[I am Ijiwaru, Warlord of Malevolence] the Warlord trimmed in blue replies.

[I am Ayamari, Warlord of Confusion.]

[And you have the privilage to gaze at the wonderful Hokori, Warlord of Vanity,] the red- trimmed Warlord sniffs.

[Is this guy for real?] Kento bursts out laughing.

[Guys, someone's gotta protect the girl,] Rowen points his thumb at Yuri.

[Sage, Dais, you take the girl somewhere safe,] Ryo orders. [The rest of us will handle these freaks.]

[Okay,] the two teams split up.

"Matte!" Kayura calls out. She tosses a bracelet with a silver jewel at Yuri, who catches it.

"What the.." Yuri grunts as Dais grabs her by the waist and leaps on top of a building. "What the fuck are you doing?"

[Great.] Dais mutters. [We find Aerostar, but she doesn't understand a word we're saying.]

[Don't worry.] Sage smiles reassuringly. [I can be a translator.]

The two Ronins and Yuri travel rooftop to rooftop away from the battlefield. Finally, they stop at a field outside the city.

"This is just great.." Yuri mutters as she looks back in the direction from whence they came. She looks down at the bracelet Kayura gave her. What is this for? Oh, well. She pockets it.

"Are you all right?" Sage asks in English. "You hurt?"

"I'm fine," she looks at him over her shoulder and crosses her arms over her chest. "Shouldn't the both of you be out there helping?"

"Someone had to get you away from there.." before he could finish, cackling is heard.

"Did you think you could get away so easily?" Ayamari grins evilly.

"Shit," Dais and Sage get in-between Yuri and the Warlord.

"She's speaking Japanese, isn't she?" Yuri questions Sage, who nods in reply. "Then how is it I understand her?"

"Maybe the bracelet," Sage draws his no-datchi. "Now get out of here."

Both Ronins charge at Ayamari. Sage swings down as Dais disappears. Ayamari whips out her katana and blocks while Dais, appearing from behind, strikes her from the back. She grunts at the impact.

The Ronins leap back and do it again. Only this time, anticipating the attack from behind, Ayamari pushes past Sage and he takes Dais' attack. He falls, groaning in pain.

"Hahaha!" Ayamari cackles as she sheaths her katana and pulls out a flute. "Hears a song for you." She begins playing. As she does, the Ronins and Yuri begin screaming.

"Damn this hurts," Yuri backing away from the source of the horrifying noise. "That music is somehow scrambling my brains."

As she backs away, one of the four Netherealm gates appears and opens up. Dais, his helmet blocking out some of the music, notices. Unknowingly, she walks back into the door and it closes.

"Wait! Stop!" he tries to get up, but can't. Damn it! She's gone!

"SUPER WAVE SMASHER!" Cye's attack hits the unsuspecting Warlord and causes her to drop the flute.

"Bastard!" She grabs her flute and plays a melody, which forms a white portal. "This is not over Ronins. I will be back." She walks through just as all the other Ronins appear.

"You guys all right?" Cye helps Sage stand.

"Yeah," he turns to check on Yuri and sees that she has disappeared. "Where'd she go?"

"She walked into one of the Nethergates," Dais transforms down to his sub-armor.

"And you just let her?" Kento stalks up to Dais.

"I couldn't exactly move at the moment because of that Warlord bitch," Dais growls.

"What are we going to do now?" Ryo clenches his fist. "Talpa's got are only chance to defeat him."
