"Excuse me, sir," a black-haired girl with a pony-tail, dressed in a purple Chinese shirt and black pants, jumps off of her motorcycle and approaches Ryouga as he walks along the sidewalk about a mile from Furinkan High school. "Could you tell me where the Tendou Dojo is?"

"Ranma! How dare you mock me, asking me where the Tendou Dojo is, when you know very well where it is! Die!" Ryouga starts to attack the girl with various kicks and punches.

"I'm not Ranma!" the girl starts blocking. "My name is Saotome Jade."

"Very funny, Ranma! You shall pay!" he attacks her again, with more fury.

"Hi, Ryouga! Bye, Ryouga!" Ranma waves as he runs along the fence at top speed.

"Nani..?" he looks up as Jade sweeps his feet out from under him.

Just as Ryouga is about to stand up, Akane runs past him and hits Ryouga on the back of his head with her bookbag, causing him to fall down again.

"Ranma, you baka! Wait up!" Akane chases after Ranma. "Sorry Ryouga-kun!"

"You should let someone finish explaining before you attack them, you know. You could have seriously hurt me if I wasn't able to defend myself," she puts out her hand to help him back up.

"Gomen. You're pretty good," Ryouga dusts his clothes off.

"Thanks. Anyway, who was that running along the wall?" she looks after Ranma and Akane as they ran down the street.

"That was Saotome Ranma."

"That was Ranma! He certainly has changed," she blinks.

"How do you know Ranma?" Ryouga asks.

"He's my cousin," she hops back on her motorcycle. "So, do you know where the Tendous live?"

"Uh...you see..," Ryouga puts his hand behind his head. "I...uh...have a problem with directions."

"That's okay. Hop on," she pats the seat behind her. "We'll find it."

Ryouga sits in the seat behind her and they shoot off down the road. She drives until she reaches the Nekohanten.

Jade and Ryouga walks in and Shampoo, without looking, ushers them to a table.

"What your order?" she pulls a notepad from her pocket and hands them both a menu. "I recommend this week special, Pork-fried Ramen." ('-_-)

"Uh, Shampoo?" Ryouga looks up at her.

"Nihao, pig-boy, what you want?" Shampoo looks up from her notepad.

"Excuse me, but can you give us directions to the Tendou Dojo?" Jade picks up the menu and glances at it.

"What business do you have with the Tendous?" Cologne eyes her suspiciously as she hops over to them on her walking stick.

"Well, I don't actually have business with the Tendous. I have business with Saotome Ranma," Jade puts down the menu and looks at Cologne. [Something about that old woman gives me a creepy feeling. I'd better keep an eye on her.]

"Son-in-law? You aren't another fiancee are you?" she asks.[This girl...I hope she doesn't bring more trouble to Son-in-law.]

"No! I'm his cousin," Jade looks at her oddly. "Another fiancee?"

"Is long story," Shampoo turns and walks back to the kitchen.

"Boy, Ranma and I are gonna have a lot to catch up on," Jade shakes her head. "How many fiancees does he have anyway?"

"Officially, three, not including a psychopath named Kunou Kodatchi, who is also after him," Ryouga shakes his head also. "And that's only half the problem."

"Oh, man. And I thought my life was complicated," Jade sweat-drops.

Jade gets the directions from Cologne. She and Ryouga ride to the dojo. Jade walks up to the door and knocks.

"Hello. Can I help you?" Kasumi answers.

"Is Saotome Genma home? I need to see him."

"Wait right here. Oh, hi, Ryouga-san," Kasumi shows them into the living room, where Genma and Soun were playing Shogi. Meanwhile, Ryouga gets lost and ends up falling into the koi pond, turning into P-chan.

"Uncle Saotome, you have a visitor. Someone by the name of Jade," Kasumi enters the room.

"Saotome Jade?"

"Hai."

"Tell her to come in," Jade enter and Genma greets her with a bow. "Tendou-kun, this is my cousin, Saotome Jade. Jade, this is Ranma's future father-in-law, Tendou Soun."

Both exchange bows and the three kneel at the dinning room table.

"What brings you to Nerima, Jade-san?" Soun asks as Kasumi brings him, Genma, and Jade some iced tea.

"I need Ranma's help," Jade closes her eyes as she sips her tea.

"Oh?" Genma asks, worriedly.

"You see, I'm in trouble with a..."

Suddenly, a figure crashes through the wall, causing Genma to spill his iced tea, turning him into a panda.

"Saotome Jade, I have found you at last! You shall pay, you vile wench," the figure pulls out a sword as Jade does the same.

"Ah, Haruko, long time no see. Did you have a nice time in jail?" Jade smiles evilly. "After all, isn't that where your family spends most of their time?"

"How dare you bring my family into this! You're gonna pay!" he charges at her, but she feints right and hits him on the back of his neck, rendering him unconscious.

After checking to make sure she didn't cause any serious damage, she ties him up.

"Um...Jade-san?" Genma-panda and Soun poke their heads from behind the couch and Genma-panda holds up a sign.

*Who is that?*

"Where's Genma?" Jade looks at the panda oddly.

Genma-panda flips the sign over.

*It's me.*

"Let me guess, Jusenkyo," Jade sighs.

*How did you know?*

"Let's say I've been there."

*Did you...*

"Oh, my!" Kasumi exclaims as she emerges from the kitchen. "I guess Nabiki will have to estimate how much the damage will cost when she gets back from school."

"Don't worry. I'll pay for it," Jade sighs a she pulls out a wallet stuffed with yen. "It is partially my fault."

*Now, Jade* Genma-panda glares and holds up another sign. *Who is that guy?*

"It's a long story. Haruko's brother, who's in high school, was picking on some of my junior high friends, so I beat him up for it. Then Haruko found out and has been chasing me ever since," Jade picks up Haruko and heads toward the door. "I'm gonna buy some supplies to fix the wall. I'll be back in a little while. By the way, where'd Ryouga-san go?"

"He'll be back in about five days. I wouldn't worry about him," Genma-panda and Soun walk back over to the Shogi table to finish their game.

Just as Jade, carrying Haruko, is about to step out of the door, P-chan crosses the Tendou yard. Jade drops Haruko, who grunts, but stays unconscious, and walks over the pig.

[What a cute pig,] she thinks. [The bandanna around his neck...it's just like Ryouga-san! He must have fell into Jusenkyo, too. Oh, boy, I wonder who else has fell in?]

"Hello, Ryouga-san," Jade whispers to him.

"Bwee!" his eyes grew wide. [How did she know? Has she been to Jusenkyo?]

"Let me get you some hot water and we can talk about it," she walks back into the house and gets a kettle from Kasumi.

"Where are your clothes?" she asks.

"Bwee." [Thanks]

"Let see, you had to have fallen into a fairly large amount of water and the only place around here...Ah, hah! The koi pond!" Jade picks up P-chan and runs back to the pond.

Sure enough, Ryouga's clothes lie at the bottom of it.

"Here goes!" Jade jumps into the pond.

As her body touches the water, it begins to change. Her feminine body becomes more masculine. Some parts disappearing while other parts form where there weren't any before. Her hair changes from black to light blondish brown.

When she..he walks out of the pond with Ryouga's clothing, P-chan just stares.

"Yeah, yeah. I know," Jade-kun says in a much deeper voice.

After Jade turned P-chan back into Ryouga, and turned herself back into female form, they both walk back to the front of the dojo.

"How long has it been since you fell in the pool?" Ryouga asks while squeezing the water out of his shirt.

"About three months, I think. I was looking for Ranma and Genma. Someone had told me that he had seen them go in Jusenkyo. When I went to look around for the guide, some kid threw a baseball and it hit me in my head, knocking me into a pool," Jade sighs.

"So, it was Ranma's fault for turning you into a guy!"

"No, no. It was my own fault. I should have read the warning and kept alert," Jade looked at Ryouga. "Are you saying it's Ranma's fault that you fell into the pool?"

"Yes. It's his fault I turn into a...a...pig!" Ryouga tells Jade his side of the story.

"Let me get this straight. You and Ranma fought over left over lunch food at school. Then you challenged him and were supposed to meet him in the lot 500 yards from your house. Ranma waited three days and on the fourth you arrived, but Ranma had already left for China to train at Jusenkyo with Genma. You followed them and when you arrived at the cliff overlooking the pools, Genma was chasing Ranma, causing him to bump into you, knocking you into the pool."

"Yes," he clenches his fists.

"It's not really Ranma's fault. After all it was an accident," Jade realizes something. "Have you really ever thought that maybe you, Ranma, and me were fated to fall into Jusenkyo?"

"Huh?" he looked at her like she had grown another head.

"Well, my fate has something in store for us," she shrugs. "I've been thinking about this a lot ever since I fell in. I have this feeling that Ranma is going to get in some serious trouble."

"What do you mean 'trouble'?"

"You meet Ranma, then later, fall into a Jusenkyo pool. I go looking for him, I fall into one," Jade bends down to lift Haruko, who has woken up. "Thought I'd forgotten about ya, didn't ya. Well, I didn't. If ya ever come around the dojo while I'm here again, I'll do a lot worse."

Jade slings Haruko over the back of her motorcycle. She walks over to Ryouga and makes him sit.

"Ryouga-san, stay put. Don't you dare move," she glares as he gulps. "If Ranma gets here before I get back, tell him to stay here. I have something important to talk to him about."

Ryouga stares as Jade and Haruko drive off into town.

"Ryouga, what are you doing sitting there?" Ranma says as he and Akane walk inside the gate.

"Waiting for Jade-san to get back," Ryouga stretches. "She told me to tell you stay here. She has something important to talk to you about."

"I don't know anyone by the name of Jade," Ranma looks at him quizzically.

"She said that she was your cousin."

"I'd better go talk to pop. He probably knows something about this," Ranma stalks into the dojo. "Pop! Where are you?"

"No need to shout, boy! What do you want?" Genma emerges from the kitchen with an armload of food.
