Within the next few pages is information telling all about me, Lacy. Note that I haven't given every detail, like my address and phone number, for instance. My life's got enough troubles without adding a stalker to the top of the stack. :P
I'm a 22-year-old Class of 1999 Honors graduate of Halls High School. I'm five-foot-eight, with blue eyes and waist-length brown hair. I also wear thin-framed glasses.
I am an introvert and unless its about stuff I'm interested in- Anime, RPGs- both video game and table top,- comics, sci-fi, or fantasy- I don't usually have very much to say. I just find that I don't have anything in common with "normal" people, mainly because I- better sit down for this one- don't do drugs, drink liquor, and any of that other stupid crap.
You see, in the South- the only other hint I'm giving you- that's what everybody does around here. And if you're not into it, you're pretty much an outcast. Thankfully, my fiance also stays away from that crap too, otherwise I never would have dated him in the first place. :P
Anyhoo, my interests range in lots of things. Reading smutty Shoujo and fighting Shonen Manga to rollerblading, I can usually keep myself pretty entertained. I don't rollerblade much anymore, but sometimes the urge hits me.
Reading Manga and watching Anime take up ALL my time. I like how both Manga and Anime have that unrealistic, cartoony art, but aren't immature in the story or characters. American comics, like Batman and Superman, have a realistic art to them, which I don't particularly care for, but read anyhow. To me, cartoons and comics should take the reader away from the real world, in art and especially in story. That's why I read them, to get away from the real world.
I do watch American cartoons, like Batman: the Animated Series, Static Shock, and X-men: Evolution. I also like American comics, mainly Green Lantern, Batman: tAS comics, Spider-girl, and Sonic the Hedgehog. I've only started reading them in the past year though.
